About The Event
A historical and contemporary review of semi-precious gemstones, i.e. Jaspers, Agates, Petrified
Wood, and mineral specimens. Included in the workshop will be the metaphysical and spiritual
properties, attributes, the healing powers, and the lore and sacred uses of these gemstones,
including magickal practices. Gemstones have been used throughout history as sacred objects,
talismans, and amulets, and especially known for their curative powers. Gemstones have also been
used in Trade, Barter and related business practices. A brief review of their physical, chemical
and scientific properties will also be discussed. There will be several books available to look at, a
specimen board with samples to see and handouts about Gemstones with a free Agate or Jasper
for everyone.
*** Phil as been a “rock hound” since childhood and has a lapidary hobby - tumbling, cutting and polishing semi-
precious gemstones for more then 40 years. He also uses gemstones Magickally & Spiritually!!
